Prop Pulling Systems
Getting a propeller off its shaft without damaging the hub, the shaft taper, or the blades takes the right tooling — a seized or corroded prop can fight back hard. We built custom propeller pulling systems that handle props of any size and pitch, so removal is controlled instead of brutal.
Whether your boat is on a trailer, on the hard, or still in the water, there’s a clean way to get the prop to the shop: bring it in, let our divers pull it, or arrange your own divers and drop it off.
Why proper pulling matters
A prop hammered off with improvised tools often arrives with a cracked hub or a scored taper — damage that didn’t exist before the removal. Purpose-built pullers apply even force around the hub, protecting both the propeller and the shaft it has to go back onto.
In the water? We can still help
If hauling out isn’t practical, we can send professional divers to retrieve the propeller from your boat, or you can arrange your own divers to deliver it to us. Divers are an additional cost, not included in the repair.
Frequently Asked Questions
My prop is seized on the shaft. Can you get it off?
That’s exactly what our custom pulling systems are for — they’re built to handle props of any size and pitch with controlled, even force. Call or text (786) 420-4985 and tell us what you’re dealing with.
Can you pull the prop while the boat is in the water?
Yes — our divers can retrieve the propeller from your boat, or you can arrange your own divers. Note that divers are an additional cost, not included in the repair.
Do I need to bring the whole boat?
No. Most customers bring just the propeller. If it’s still on the boat, ask us about pulling options — shop drop-off, our divers, or yours.
